This position is responsible for coordinating the process related to material or product non-conformances within the manufacturing environment. Education: High School diploma or equivalent Requirements: Maintain up-to-date training on Component Identification, Right-to-Know, and the following certifications: IPC-A-610, Move Safe, ESD, and FOD Computer skills required: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required Attention to detail and good organizational skills Vision corrected to 20/20 Ability to work overtime hours, as needed Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to obtain a Government granted security clearance, if necessary Responsibilities: Track and manage non-conforming materials, parts, or products that do not meet required specifications or standards Process transactions in the ERP system related to MRC activities Work with Engineering and Production to resolve non-conforming product through various Quality methods surge as purge and sort activities Maintain records of non-conformance reports (NCRs) which document the issues and the actions taken to resolve them Assist in scheduling and facilitating Material Review Board (MRB) meetings where the team evaluates non-conformances, determines root causes and decides on corrective actions Coordinate the MRB decisions to ensure actions are completed Communicates with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure non-conformance issues are communicated and resolved Assists in ensuring all processes related to non-conformance handling are compliant with internal quality management systems and external standards (e.g. ISO 9001) Assists in analyzing patterns in non-conformance data to help identify potential improvements Participates in Continuous Improvement projects Participates in projects as assigned by the Quality Manager Sypris Electronics, LLC provides goods and services to the U.S. Government and other prime contractors and is obligated by its contracts with those entities, as well as by various federal laws and regulations regarding security and export control, to restrict access to certain goods, services, and/or any related information.
