50BRKTH Breakthrough POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a Data Analyst to join our dynamic and innovative Data Intelligence organization. As a member of our Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of creative solutions and analytic insights for a variety of stakeholders. While in this role, you will have the opportunity to learn from others within the Data Intelligence organization, expand your technical skillset, and will be a key resource creating innovative solutions needed for end users throughout the organization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Analytical Ability:

  • Entry level analytics resource providing support to others on the analytics team on varying tasks and projects:
    • Data acquisition & cleansing
    • Conducting thorough analysis, exploring nuances, and considering inputs and outputs from various perspectives
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements, identify key metrics, and develop analytical solutions to address business challenges.
    • JIRA ticket management & completion
  • Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate analytical findings and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Completing business asks for analytical deep-dives and exploratory analytics.

Resource Development:

  • Serves as a contributor and innovator for the Data Analytics organization
    • Brings new concepts and approaches to work to the team.
    • Brings business acumen to the team to understand the needs of the stakeholders
    • Works to develop personal skills, both technical and interpersonal, to foster a collaborative environment.
    • Stays current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis space to provide recommendations to continuously improve and introduce capabilities to drive scale and innovation.

Collaboration:

  • Must possess the ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to build rapport and establish credibility
    • Will work with more senior team members to develop personal skillset and help improve how tasks are completed in various areas of the organization.
  • Will work with partners in the tech organization to assist in the continual improvement of our capabilities

Execution

  • The responsibilities this individual will have include:
    • Completing analytics for stakeholders within the product lines in a manner that meet the needs of the end user while ensuring accuracy & data standards
    • Continual learning on various analytical methodologies, data visualization development, & other skills to apply to various software platforms
    • Take direction from more senior team members to help advance analytical projects while learning the industry application of various inquiries
    • Creating documentation on the various tools, processes and platforms that the data analytics team works within
QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics or a related field involving problem solving and critical thinking, or equivalent work experience.
  • 0-3 years working in analysis-based roles
  • Exposure to developing effective data visualizations that are used in decision-making situations.
  • Desire to gain an understanding of database concepts and data analytical frameworks & principles.
  • Desire to learn SQL, advanced visualization techniques, and other programming languages
  • Basic business acumen with a supply chain/transportation background being preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate analytical and data-related challenges.
  • Attention to detail and being able to look at a problem from multiple angles and perspectives.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate analytical outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
