Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy within the specified market scope (NE Region of the US) and maintain it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to en-sure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales or-ganization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.
The work model for the role is: #LI - Remote
This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors division in Northeast region of the US. Main stake-holders are both our internal and external customers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Anticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial ac-tions, proactively.
*Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, deter-mines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.
*Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
*Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration or 2-year degree plus 12 years re-lated experience.
  • At least 8 years relevant experience within the industrial business environment including sales & marketing experience.
  • Fluent English, good communication skills.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $111,300 and $206,700 annually and is bonus eligible.
