Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring a Junior Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a systems engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide Engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at the Peraton office. As a Junior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for the development, design, integration, administration, and maintenance of dynamic webpages and its functionalities through capabilities such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the MEAN Stack; assist in workflow establishment and process improvement; and may be responsible for identifying technical requirements and for drafting or reviewing technical documentation for software; implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities.



Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. Note: A High School Diploma or GED plus 5 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
  • Experience in SharePoint, Confluence, and Coding/Development.
    • Front-end GUI/ Page Development
    • HTML, CSSL, and JavaScript usage
    • MEAN (Mongo, Express, Angular, Node) Stack Knowledge and/or capability of learning
    • Microsoft Azure Environment
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required

  • Ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve technical issues is critical

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
