Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Vice President of IDIQ/MAC Programs is responsible for driving sustainable growth via strategic Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Multi-Agency Contracts (MAC) vehicles. This executive will lead efforts to develop business, grow revenue, and manage opportunities from capture through program startup. The role requires collaboration with company leaders, partners, and clients to position the company as a leader in Defense and National Security markets.

The successful candidate is responsible for overall planning for the organization's activities to develop and promote the organization's vision. The candidate must have a track record of balancing tactical objectives and strategic plans by identifying internal and external issues that could affect growth and profitability. The candidate plans and coordinates business reviews, resource allocations, organization structures, and opportunity analysis. This person will act as a 'player-coach' who will not only lead and develop a team of Growth professionals, but also meet customers and partners and actively participate in key captures and proposals. The successful candidate will have proven experience leading P&L, Business Development, and Capture teams as well as experience in the identification and qualification of large opportunities, excellent industry/customer knowledge, a demonstrated track record of success leading large capture and growth initiatives, and proven success in winning large and complex solutions opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

    Lead Peraton's IDIQ/MAC business development initiatives to achieve growth and capture targets, ensuring alignment with Peraton's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
  • Manage a select portfolio of Peraton Prime IDIQ/MAC contract vehicles (DTIC IAC/MAC, DTRA CWMD, NIWC ISR/IO, others) identifying new Task Orders and opportunities.
  • Drive corporate strategy by recommending market pivots, emerging trends, and enhancements that position the firm ahead of industry changes.
  • Build and expand existing customer relationships, developing holistic solutions tailored to their needs through a consultative approach.
  • Lead teams of direct and indirect resources from across Corporate Growth functions and Sector organization to develop and mature a pipeline of qualified opportunities across supported vehicles, collaborating with internal teams and strategic partners to execute capture strategies.
  • Oversee capture plans for each opportunity, driving analysis and leveraging internal processes for streamlined proposal submissions.
  • Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their ability to achieve growth and capture success.
  • Serve as the executive liaison for key relationships with clients, industry partners, and government agencies, advocating for Peraton's capabilities and fostering new opportunities.
  • Serve as a thought leader within the industry, representing Peraton at conferences and events to increase brand visibility and recognition.
  • Track, report, and present pipeline activity and account management updates to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with revenue goals.
  • Support all aspects of the growth operations process, including business development, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives to enhance the company's competitive edge.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, working with legal, GWAC PMO, and contract teams to safeguard Peraton's interests.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 25 years of experience, with at least 10 years in the private sector supporting aerospace customers.
  • A strong understanding of the DoD and Defense Agencies mission and operations with relevant industry and government relationships.
  • Experience developing corporate wide growth strategies and strategic plans to grow with the Space and Intel markets.
  • Proven experience in business development and capture management, supporting the development of opportunity pipelines and leading captures of $100M+.
  • A demonstrated track record of winning new business.
  • Excellent communications skills are required as are good interpersonal skills and an ability to inspire confidence and provide the business development leadership to the Space & Intelligence Sector.
  • Strong leadership characteristics including developing and communicating a strategic vision and motivating and influencing others to achieve that vision.
  • High levels of professional curiosity and an innate desire to learn about customers, their environment, and their challenges.
  • A bias for action and an orientation toward solving rather than identifying problem areas.

Target Salary Range

$229,000 - $366,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
