What you'll do

The Director, Talent Sourcing & Research will lead and advance our global talent sourcing strategy, research capabilities, and pipeline generation efforts. This role is critical to identifying, attracting, and engaging high-caliber talent to fuel our company's success. The Director will work closely with the TA leadership, hiring managers, and business leaders to ensure proactive, targeted talent solutions that align with business needs and long-term growth strategies. This role requires a strategic and innovative leader with a passion for using data, tools, and insights to drive sourcing and research excellence.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition.

Responsibility

  • Design and implement a comprehensive global sourcing and research strategy that aligns with business goals and elevates our talent acquisition capabilities
  • Partner with TA leadership to define talent pipelines for current and future needs, focusing on critical, hard-to-fill, and high-impact roles
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, new sourcing technologies, and best practices, driving continuous innovation within the team
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing talent researchers, fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture
  • Empower team members to build relationships across the organization and act as talent ambassadors
  • Establish clear goals and performance metrics, driving accountability and excellence
  • Build and maintain a strong sourcing infrastructure, including tools, analytics, and technologies, to identify and attract top talent efficiently
  • Leverage data insights, analytics, and market research to inform sourcing strategies, diversity objectives, and recruitment standard methodologies
  • Provide actionable market intelligence reports and competitor analysis to support proactive talent decision-making
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, recruiters, and senior leadership to understand hiring needs, align on sourcing priorities, and deliver high-quality talent pipelines
  • Act as a strategic partner to TA and business leaders, advising on market trends, talent availability, and innovative sourcing methodologies
  • Support and enhance the company's employer brand through targeted, market-specific talent engagement initiatives
  • Develop and optimize sourcing workflows, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and scalable process for candidate identification and engagement
  • Drive adoption of new sourcing tools and methodologies, staying current with the latest advancements in talent sourcing and research technology
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, assessing sourcing effectiveness and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and candidate experience

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring

Basic

  • 12+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a strong focus on talent sourcing and research
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing sourcing teams
  • Experience with sourcing tools, CRM platforms, and recruiting technologies, with the ability to use them for optimal results
  • Experience in data analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence in a talent acquisition context
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

Preferred

  • Extensive experience in a global, matrixed organization with demonstrated success in building cross-functional partnerships
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence partners and build trust at all levels

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $164,800.00 - $232,750.00 base salary

Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary

Washington DC: $171,500.00 - $242,225.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
