Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our client in Gainesville, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Act as a quality interface for client's customers, responsible for immediate response and follow-up actions on all inquiries raised during product delivery (Voice of Customer).
  • Clearly define customer expectations of quality requirements and translate them to production.
  • Responsible for immediate deployment of containment actions on any reported non-conformances reported from the airframer final assembly facility or Airline (lead the CAPA).
  • Participate and coach in QRQC activities as well as customer concerns room.
  • Lead, perform, and ensure technical root cause analysis and effective implementation of permanent corrective actions through engineering design updates, manufacturing assembly sequencing planning correction, tooling improvement, training, or process change.
  • Uses the problem-solving tools such as 8D, 4S, 5Whys, Pareto Analysis, FMEA, etc.
  • Work closely with a worldwide quality team in other manufacturing facilities of the client and on-site support teams.
  • Perform monthly defect data trend analysis to identify areas of opportunity.
  • Lead OEM Quality Improvement Board meeting to analyze primary KPIs and review project improvement status rail.
  • Assist the quality management team with project definitions for overall quality improvement processes.
  • Lead project teams in related quality initiatives.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and direction to the Field Service team stationed at the customer's manufacturing sites.
  • Provide guidelines, training, and support to inspection personnel.
  • Acts with company values and related competencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $78K-$84K/year.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 12 years experience in AS9100 quality systems.
  • Minimum of 12 years experience working with customers.
  • Minimum of 12 years experience with LEAN/Six Sigma fundamentals and implementation.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Quality professional role within the aerospace industry.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Systems and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of APQP.
  • Working knowledge of processes and procedures used in the manufacturing of products.
  • Ability to generate reports and data utilizing the MS Office tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions accordingly.
  • Knowledge of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ability to generate written communication and to operate necessary office equipment.
  • Ability to read and review written communication.
  • Speech and hearing abilities that allow individuals to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and customers.
  • Ability to convince, take initiative, Accept responsibility, Adaptability-flexibility, Autonomy, Building Relationships, Creativity, Leadership, Negotiation, Perseverance, Precise, Self-confidence, Self-motivation.

  • AS9145 - APQP.
  • QRQC.
  • Material Review Board knowledge.
