Linux System Administrator

ACARA Solutions and our client located at Ft. Belvoir, VA have a contract to direct hire position available.

Linux System Administrator

• As a Linux Systems Administrator for Cyber Systems, you'll be a cross-functional team member responsible for enterprise-class systems, specialized Linux OS, cross-domain solutions, boundary devices, and customer service.
• Red Hat LINUX command line administration.
• Command-level troubleshooting of OS and associated hardware/software.
• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and mitigation of vulnerabilities as directed by IA based on scan findings and applicable DoD direction.
• Manage cross-domain enterprise-level solutions.
• Re-imaging workstations, servers, and databases (both physical and virtual).

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Red Hat Linux, system/server builds, advanced troubleshooting, cross-domain

Preferred Skills:

• Master's Degree
• Detail orientated.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
