Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Manager Consultant to work with our manufacturing client on a project based opportunity $65 - $85 per hour. Seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Consultant to oversee the daily operations of the warehouse at our Phoenix facility on a temporary basis. This consultant role will focus on streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and providing expert guidance to the warehouse team in coordination with production, planning, and other operational departments. The consultant will assess existing operations, provide recommendations for improvement, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Provide expert guidance to ensure the efficient management of receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. Implement best practices and monitor daily activities to meet operational goals. Inventory Control: Advise on inventory management best practices, ensuring accurate tracking and preventing disruptions in production. Conduct regular audits and inventory reconciliations. Compliance & Legislation: Stay informed of relevant federal, state, and local regulations related to warehousing, material handling, and shipping. Ensure warehouse operations comply with these regulations, including safety and environmental standards. Security & Protocols: Review and recommend improvements to existing warehouse security protocols and procedures to safeguard operations and warehouse contents. Process Improvement: Evaluate and recommend changes to the physical layout and operational flow of the warehouse to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and support future scalability. Team Development: Support the warehouse team by providing guidance on performance improvement, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments. Staff Training: Assess current training programs and provide recommendations for improvements, ensuring warehouse staff are well-trained on procedures and safety protocols. Job Requirements Skills / Qualifications: Proven experience in warehouse management or operations consulting, preferably in the manufacturing or production industry. Strong understanding of inventory control systems, logistics, and supply chain best practices. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to warehousing and safety. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to recommend actionable solutions. Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
