Electric Boat is seeking a Courseware Developer for the Shore Facilities Engineering Services team to provide instructional design expertise in support of classroom-based operational and technical training, Interactive Media Instruction (IMI), and other specialized educational programs for U.S. Navy submarine fleet personnel. The selected candidate will also support U.S. Navy tasking for the maintenance of curricula as well as support various Electric Boat personnel training requirements as tasked by the EB Shipyard or Design and Engineering departments. The individual will primarily be responsible to manage the instructional development process in accordance with U.S. Navy educational training guidelines and standards for major ship systems, e.g., Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), Common Missile Compartment (CMC), and Steam Electrical Plant (SEP). The successful candidate will work closely with various NAVSEA groups along with Electric Boat ship specification engineers, designers, and technical specialists to support the analysis, design, and development of instructional materials utilized on board U.S. Navy Submarines and shore-based facilities. This position is sponsored by Navy Facility Engineering and Training Technologies and reports directly to the Program Supervisor for D701. Responsibilities
