Analytical Chemist II (3rd Shift)

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a QA Analytical Chemist II to join our team!

The QA Chemist is responsible for conducting QA testing and will provide analytical support to production of our Micro-contamination control and membrane products, as well as for R&D development. The QA chemist will prepare and test samples using Ion Chromatography, TOC, FTIR, NVR, Karl Fischer and ICP-MS.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6:30am.

In this role you will:

• Work in a clean room environment to conduct routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing.
• Participate in conversations around non-routine testing and conduct testing once method is established.
• Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
• Prepare samples for analysis and load instrumentation.
• Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Perform preventative maintenance and trouble-shoot equipment.
• Remove and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures.
• Handle requests appropriately and in a timely manner.

What We Seek:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related.
• 2+ years of related work experience.
• Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.
• A self-starter, with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and follow established protocol in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday,10pm-6:30am.

?Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Any experience running analytical instrumentation is a plus.
• ICPMS experience is a plus.
• Experience within an ISO 9000 work environment is a plus.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills will elevate a candidate.
• Previous cleanroom experience is preferred but not required.
