We cover the wide environment of sensors from electro-mechanic to electronic products and from detection to identification and distance measurement. We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer in our Dayton, Ohio location. What Do You Get To Do?
- Manage the Process/Continuous improvement, resolve product process issues in the plant to contribute to improving customer satisfaction and achieving quality goals.
- Manage cross functional teams, implement operational technique and perform activities aimed both at monitoring a process and at eliminating causes of dissatisfaction.
- Design, qualify & calibrate our test systems.
- Analyze and draw conclusions on performance from acoustic measurement
- Perform data processing and analysis, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend solutions for our transducers & ultrasonics sensors.
This job might be for you if:
- Master or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Acoustics or closely related field
- Strong knowledge in electronics
- Good mathematical, statistic and analytical skills
- Good Knowledge of physics, including the behavior of sound waves and vibrations is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other specialized engineering tools.
- Proficiency in using test equipment and demonstrated capability of effectively using data acquisition software.
- Understanding of mixed signal circuit design, including op-amp differential amplifiers, ADC's, DAC's, digital interfacing, DSP functionality.
- Experience with setting up, operating, and troubleshooting data-acquisition equipment.
- Experience with test and analysis software tools such as MATLAB, Mathematica,
- Experience with software languages such as C, Python, Labview.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Effective working on teams, within and outside of your function.
- Thrive in fast-paced logistics environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Acoustics or closely related field with up to 10 years of experience preferred; Master's Degree a plus.
