Your Responsibilities as an Engineer 1: Support soil and groundwater remediation projects. Oversee field operations and maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems including groundwater and soil vapor extraction. Perform collection of soil, water, and air samples for O&M purposes. Assist with project engineering design. Oversee field work to ensure work is done in accordance with work plans and other plans and specifications. Work with construction staff in support of the installation of remediation systems. Provide support and oversight of field technicians related to O&M. Gather, analyze, and interpret O&M data. Write technical reports. Review laboratory analytical data related to remediation system operation. Support with permitting and ensuring compliance of remediation system operation. What we're looking for: BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field. EIT certification desired. HAZWOPER certification desired. 1 to 5 years of related experience - including internship experience. Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD. Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness. Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices. Good driving record with valid license. Job requires passing strict security background checks necessary for Military federal projects. Job requires passing medical evaluation and drug screening.
