The Glickman LauderCenter of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disordersis a full-service integrated treatment, research, and training center designed to meet the needs of Maine families, generate new treatment models, and advance autism science for the benefit of all.

Position Highlights:

  • Starting Hourly Range: $18.77-19.39, based on experience.

What the Role Entails:

At GLCOE, the Family Resource Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the patient experience during provider appointments. By offering real-time support, they bridge the gap between healthcare providers and the essential resources patients need. From peer support to connecting families with vital services, the Family Resource Specialist ensures that every patient has access to comprehensive care and assistance beyond what is typically provided during appointments. This unique role is dedicated to making healthcare more accessible and supportive for all.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Bachelor's Degree required. 2. License/Certifications: N/A 3. Experience: Two years of work experience in a health or mental health setting preferred. Ability to self-identify as a person who has a family member who has received services related to autism or developmental disorder diagnosis required. 4.
