Job Title Landscaping LeadJob Description Summary This position requires overseeing a landscaping team, ensuring quality work on campus by directing team members, managing equipment, scheduling tasks, maintaining safety standards, and possessing in-depth knowledge of horticultural practices, all while performing hands-on landscaping tasks as needed, including trimming, mowing, and weed control by applying herbicides to eliminate unwanted vegetation to maintain aesthetically pleasing outdoor space for client.Job Description Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the landscaping team, assigning tasks, delegating work, and monitoring performance.
Demonstrate proficiency in various landscaping techniques including pruning, turf management, and irrigation systems.
Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment like mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers, and power tools safely and efficiently.
Maintain open communication with management, addressing concerns, providing updates on campus conditions, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Enforce safety protocols on the job site, ensuring landscaping team follow proper safety procedures and wear necessary protective gear. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Several years of hands-on experience in landscaping, including landscape equipment maintenance, and lawn care techniques.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
Understanding of horticultural practices, landscape design principles, and proper plant care.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks like lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.
Ability to operate company vehicles and transport landscape team and equipment on campus. Work environment:
