Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Camden, NJ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Cost Account Manager, Manufacturing Program Manager, or Operations Program Manager is responsible for the strategic and daily execution of the manufacturing function and will report to the Production Planning Manager.
  • This position will provide support to several different projects by managing the workflow across the production area in support of Specific lines of Business.
  • The Cost Account Manager, Manufacturing Program Manager, or Operations Program Manager Plans, schedules, coordinates and monitors the final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements.
  • Works from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
  • Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers.
  • Ensures availability of materials and labour to meet production requirements and delivery commitments.
  • Works to resolve labour and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
  • Monitor order status, including material status, managing WIP areas, location accuracy, inventory discrepancies, manufacturing and program support, and communication support
  • Engages with other IPT Leads, Functional Managers, and leadership to promote successful action planning and execution
  • Frequent collaboration with multiple functions (e.g., Design Engineering, Contracts, manufacturing, etc.) and the program office
  • Support the overall Program by contributing schedule inputs and changes into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), maintaining timely and effective change management processes and procedures
  • Support multidisciplinary program reviews and presentations throughout the different phases of development, certification, and production readiness with internal and external stakeholders
  • May manage large projects or processes that are both inside and outside of the immediate job area
  • Coordinate and Negotiate workflow through multiple work centers to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands and schedule deadlines are met
  • Serve as the Earned Value Work Package Manager for assigned programs
  • Analyze material configuration and job order status using Windows-based computer systems and software
  • Responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees.
  • Contributes to the achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with a direct impact on the departmental results.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Hi-tech Military Grade communications equipment, including Cabinet Assembly, Cable Harness, Automate Circuit Card Assembly, and Box Build.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with execution of earned value management (EVM)
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in preparing and presenting business status, presentations, and business cases to executive leaders and external customer
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with all phases of manufacturing and program management (development, planning, conceptual design, requirements definition, preliminary design, prototyping, test and evaluation, integration, entry to production
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Master's Degree.
