Advantage Resourcing is partnering with an outstanding company to hire an Engineering Clerk in Woodstock, CT. 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

The Engineering Clerk will provide clerical support to the engineering department, managing control records, and ensuring the timely release of drawings and engineering documents to manufacturing and other departments. This role also involves revising and updating documents such as drawings, materials/operations, and ISO documents.

Responsibilities:



  • Data Entry: Manage ECN, CSR, and DCN processes by updating part numbers, materials, and operations as needed.
  • Change production item states in the PDM vault.
  • Process and write DCNs for ISO document changes, including monthly REA packages.
  • Convert paper documents to electronic format.
  • Sort and deliver engineering mail daily.
  • Review and release sales orders.
  • Potential entry-level drafting work based on skill set.


Qualifications:



  • Must have prior electronics assembly experience.
  • High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months of related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with the ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively.
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to understand new issues rapidly.
  • Ability to inspire confidence, build trust, and work under pressure.
  • Associates Degree in Engineering or 2+ years of clerical experience; knowledge of labeling, drafting, and illustration software is a plus.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
