Position Title: Electronics Repair Technician
Wage: $25.00 - $28.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! Electronics Repair Technician Responsibilities: - Diagnose problems in malfunctioning equipment - Troubleshoot with customers via phone to diagnose malfunctioning equipment in the field - Determine the faulty part, deciding if it can be fixed or needs replacement - Test and adjust electronic equipment to ensure they are in optimal working order - Communicate effectively with customer service, engineering, shipping/receiving, purchasing and other company personnel in order to complete and ship repairs - Repair and assemble electronic controls and interconnect cable - Inspect parts for surface defects Requirements for Electronics Repair Technician: - High School Diploma with 3-5 years progressive responsible experience or Technical Diploma from a technical or vocational school including instruction in basic electronics, electronics manufacturing, AC/DC circuits, business practices, math, computer science, computer-aided design and English composition - Able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams - Knowledge of basic hand and power tools - Able read and understand digital voltmeter - Able to solder - Able to lift up to 70lbs - Able to sit for duration of shift QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
