Aon is looking for a Corporate Planning Data Analytics, Vice President who will be responsible for supporting the execution of the firm's strategic objectives through the management of the planning process and firmwide reporting and analytics.

What will your role look like?

  • Reporting directly to Head of Corporate Planning & Analytics.
  • You will be responsible for integrating all aspects of business planning, including investment optimization, revenue, liquidity and capital, working closely with Treasury and Risk. This pillar also includes our corporate services, who are strategic finance advisors helping the firm and the non-revenue divisions achieve commercial financial opportunities.

How is this role different?

  • Develop and implement analytical models and methodologies to analyze investment performance and optimize investment strategies.
  • Improve processes to capture financial results and oversee the collection, processing and analysis of financial data to identify business trends and opportunities.
  • Integrate latest technologies, including AI into Corporate Planning function and provide business insights to the executive team.
  • Implement the best practices in data analysis, visualization and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Aon Business Service to enhance data and analytics efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop revenue and cost models, forecasts, and business plans to support corporate planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing strategies and initiatives, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and executive teams.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's strategic direction.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the corporate planning function.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 10+ years proven experience in a financial modelling and analysis, strategy or related roles.
  • Develop and implement analytical models and methodologies to analyze investment performance and optimize investment strategies.
  • Improve processes to capture financial results and oversee the collection, processing and analysis of financial data to identify business trends and opportunities.
  • Integrate latest technologies, including AI into Corporate Planning function and provide business insights to the executive team.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $200,000 - $285,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in Aon's annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon's discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance. This role does not accrue vacation. Rather, this role is eligible to take paid time off at the discretion of the employee and management in accordance with Company policy and practices.
