Pay Grade: 16

Reports To: VP, Business Excellence & Innovations

Salary: $80,000-$90,000/yr.

Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus Eligible

Job Summary

Canteen is seeking a Communications and Change Manager responsible for developing and implementing the communication and change strategies for Canteen initiatives. This position reports to Canteen's VP of Business Excellence and Innovations. The Communications and Change Manager is responsible for the planning, development and execution of change management strategies for company projects with the goal of driving engagement and adoption with those impacted by the change. This includes the development of change and communication deliverables necessary to deliver projects according to plan.

The role will focus on enterprise-wide initiatives involving changes to both technology and business processes.

Essential Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external groups to formulate and develop change management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across a broad spectrum of teams and departments.
  • Execute change management strategies using a variety of communication methods that use clear and concise language.
  • Research, write, edit and measure the success of all communication materials.
  • Always model a positive team spirit to all team members, displaying a genuine willingness to integrate input from others into change management plans and materials.
  • Assist in developing best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Complete assigned operational tasks and/or projects.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years professional experience in corporate, agency or public-sector communications role.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 35%.
  • Experience presenting to large groups of people via webinar and/or in-person.
  • Experience in Change Management valued but not required.
  • Experience in Vending, Micromarkets and/or Office Coffee Service industries valued but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required.
  • Experience with Camtasia, Snagit or other video development software preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formSuperb written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills a must.
  • Ability to write, effectively present information, and respond to questions those impacted by the change.
