Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing cost controls and ensuring flawless execution of expenditures for the account.
  • Plan and build high-reaching menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
  • Produce and successfully implement catering events, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Develop and implement new culinary programs in collaboration with the marketing and culinary team, ensuring they are completed detailed.
  • Supervise hourly associates, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative team environment.
  • Craft daily menu items, with a strong emphasis on outstanding preparation and garnishment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A.S. in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Proven culinary/kitchen management experience, with a preference for those with formal degree or training.
  • Catering experience is a plus, demonstrating an ability to compete in high-profile events.
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable.
  • Institutional and batch cooking experience is helpful.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet applications.
  • Dedication to engaging in client happiness initiatives and events.
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
