As the Senior Analyst, Benefits Leave Administration at RXO you will support the day-to-day disability and leave administration processes for employees in the US and Canada, including Short and Long-Term Disability, FMLA, and company sponsored leave programs. You'll ensure outsourced services are provided in accordance with Plan requirements, contract terms and compliant with federal, state, provincial and local leave policies, research any potential service delivery issues and ensure timely resolution. You'll leverage your interpersonal skills to build strong relationships internally and externally, while collaborating on cross-functional teams as an expert on various leave related processes. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Leave Third Party Administrator (TPA)
  • Review and research all leave related escalations from managers and HR partners and coordinate resolution efforts with Leave TPA
  • Review disability pay calculations and collaborate with payroll department to ensure accuracy of pay; develop and implement new payroll processes and procedures as needed
  • Provide subject matter expertise and education to employees and management
  • Produce and manage reporting metrics and analytics for all leave cases
  • Ensure internal leave processes are documented and adhere to policy and compliance standards
  • Analyze Leave TPA performance levels, and recommend enhancements to policies
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new LOA policies and programs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures
  • Monitor and manage case resolution within performance standards
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Cross train benefit colleagues to provide back up as needed
  • Assist benefit team with special projects and ad hoc requests; involvement in escalated cases when needed

What you'll need to excel:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience in leave administration, with a strong emphasis on vendor management, customer service, continuous improvement and compliance monitoring
  • Experience with HR and payroll systems, such as SuccessFactors, Workday or similar.
  • Experience with federal, state, provincial, and local leave and disability laws (ADA, FMLA, PWFA etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

It'd be great if you also have:

  • 4 years of experience in HR or a related field; 2 years of experience in a leave administration role
  • CEBS, PHR, or SHRM-CP Certification
  • Strong service orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to communicate potentially detailed and complex information to others
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand technical requirements
  • Outstanding project management skills; ability to work independently and prioritize/organize workload to consistently meet deadlines
