The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist is responsible for retaining active members and reinstating inactive members while providing quality customer service when speaking with members. In addition, the Lead Specialist, provides guidance on business plans and ensures the accuracy and efficiency of membership processes while serving as the manager's backup to maintain leadership continuity.

Responsibilities:

  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist acts as a point of contact to answer questions from team members and field representatives regarding membership business plans.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist regularly reviews upcoming plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Retrieve and review mail items as needed.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist conducts verification and research on plan codes to confirm accuracy and proper setup.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist serves as a backup to the manager during absences, ensuring uninterrupted leadership and decision-making for the team.
  • Assist the manager during business meetings with internal and external teams.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist will analyze revenue reports and provide insights to support departmental goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pending plan issues to maintain smooth operations.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist will maintain a book of business and perform phone sales by placing phone calls from available calling lists.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist maintains all goals established by management to meet daily/monthly bonus standards and call volume requirements.
  • Ensure member accounts accuracy by frequently locating alternate contact information when return mail is received and updating contact information via a search engine.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist is critical to ensuring the department is mastering the monthly renewal revenue budget.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist will raise awareness and urgency to retain membership.
  • The Lead Membership Business Retention Specialist assists members with billing-related inquires by suggesting payment options, reissuing invoices, and applying and balancing payment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of customer service and sales experience
  • Efficiency in Microsoft products.
  • Customer service and excellent phone/ email etiquette.
  • Coordination of multiple phone system.
  • Functions in a fast-paced offices
  • Sales and marketing support.
