Description Leidos' Chief Information Office (CIO) is in search of an IT Program Director to join our Program Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overarching execution and success of programs spanning multiple portfolios with the CIO Project Management Office. This role ensures that programs are aligned with strategic objectives, delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The IT Program Director will collaborate with Portfolio Managers and indirectly oversee a team of cross-functional Project Managers in the delivery of large, complex IT delivery programs such as M&A integrations. Primary Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight: Lead the execution of complex programs, ensuring cross-functional concurrent IT projects align with strategic goals and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, align, and guide project managers and other contributors, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Resource Optimization: Optimize resource allocation across projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute effective strategies to engage stakeholders at all levels, and maintain effective relationships to ensure thorough management of stakeholder expectations.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies across projects to ensure program delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Maintain, monitor, and regularly report program performance through key performance indicators and metrics.
- Process Improvement: Develop and continually improve toolkits, templates, processes, and governance within the project management methodologies to drive effective and efficient project delivery.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of programs, ensuring they are delivered within budget.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and 15+ years of experience in IT project/program management.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing large, cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex topics in simple terms with all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP, PgMP, or other relevant program/project management certifications.
- In-depth knowledge of PMI PMBOK and Agile frameworks, including Scrum and SAFe agile, with practical experience operating these frameworks in an enterprise environment. Additional experience in systems engineering and organizational change management valued.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Project (and Project Online), SharePoint, and Power Platforms (PowerBI, Power Automate, and Power Apps).

Pay Range:Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
