Job Summary The HVAC Tech II operates, monitors, and maintains heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repair of all HVAC-related facilities' mechanical and electrical components and equipment in accordance with SOPs, internal requirements, manufacturer specifications, and safety policies. The HVAC Tech II develops and secures a spare parts inventory of maintenance hand and power tools and recommends the purchase of tools, equipment, and supplies required to streamline maintenance and operational processes and increase efficiency. Assists engineers in developing control methods and procedures to improve systems efficiency. Essential Duties
Performs planned maintenance, repairs, modifications, and installations related to HVAC systems.
Hydronic systems - Water and Air Cooled Chillers, Domestic and Heating Water Boilers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, and ancillary components such as expansion tanks, valves and piping systems Airside Fundamentals - Fan Coil Units, Air Handling Units, Variable Air Volume systems and Exhaust Fans DX systems - Package units, Roof Top Units, Split systems, CRAC units, Water Source Heat Pumps, and VRF systems Electrical Systems - Variable Frequency Drives, Motors, Motor Control Panels, and Electrical Distribution Components.
