Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Night Auditor / Overnight Front Desk Agent for the beautiful

Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking a Night Auditor to join our outstanding guest services team! This vital role will work closely with the Front Office Manager and Front Office Leaders to ensure successful execution of all operations relating to the overnight front desk, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction. This highly motivated individual will reconcile the business of the day and ensure a smooth efficient operation of the front desk during the 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift.

Salary range for this position (based on experience): $23.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities

      • Performs the required system saves during the night audit shift to ensure a current back-up of the hotel files is available.
      • Posts and audits banquet checks in order of the banquet summary sheet.
      • Reconciles all Food and Beverage outlet postings.
      • Verifies front desk cashier work is balanced.
      • Ensures all guest accounts are accurately posted with room and tax.
      • Distributes all close day reports and morning reports to the appropriate departments.
      • Prepares and distributes the Daily Report (Daily Business Summary DBS).
      • Preparation of daily reports and distribution as directed.
      • Accurate preparation of VIP, complimentary, house use rooms, and out of order lists.
      • Conduct back up procedures for Opera nightly.
      • Handling Express checkouts ensuring their completion.
      • Completion of third shift Night Audit checklist
      • Balancing of daily postings and revenue.
      • Understanding of all front office standards and assist in solving deficiencies.
      • Balancing of daily posting and revenue, and resolution of inaccuracies.
      • Ensuring nightly transmission of credit cards through Opera.
      • To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-in and check-out procedures and policies.
      • To be a main liaison between guest and the hotel.
      • Maintain lobby cleanliness throughout shift
      • Prepare water display to include fruit, cups, beverage napkins each morning
      • Prepare complimentary jogging cart for guests each morning
      • To appropriately protect confidential guest information and guest room key access according to front office SOP's.
      • Be familiar with all systems and equipment as related to the Front Office (ALICE, Synergy, Push to Talk Radios, ISD Firepanel)
      • Be familiar with all hotel rate plans and rate codes, understanding rate strategy when making rate changes for guests.
      • Be familiar with all hotel amenities (to include Wireless Internet, Select Guest Program, Laundry Services, and Omni Kids Program)
      • To be familiar with all hotel facilities (F&B outlets, Business Center, Fitness Center, Outdoor Pool, Meeting Space)
      • To be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments (to include Guest Services, Housekeeping, F&B outlets, Banquets, Sales, Engineering and Purchasing)
      • To be familiar with local attractions and businesses.
      • Understand and perform cash handling processes.
      • Other duties as assigned Director of Front Office/Assistant Front Office Manager
        • Tools and Equipment:

          • Computer and printer, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine,

          file folders, filing cabinet, facsimile machine

          Working Environment: Interior of hotel.



Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Must have strong communication, computer and organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Prior guest service experience required, preferably hotel front office experience.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
