Guardian Glass in looking for an Environmental Specialist to join our team at our float glass facility in Kingsburg, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in air emissions, Title V, carbon program, and environmental and compliance management. This role will involve developing programs and Process, create capability in our operations, conduct trainings, and providing technical support to our operations areas in air emission, carbon, waste, wastewater and water. What You Will Do * Manage Air emissions (Title V and Carbon program), waste and water, and compliance control relating to agency reporting and inspections * Management of permits to include compliance and renewal for Governmental, State, and Local permits * Partner with plant employees at all levels to build capability and ensure alignment with the environmental topics * Implement and monitor environmental policies, action plans, and programs that are connected with stewardship vision * Develop, propose, and be accountable for improvements * Develop and conduct training sessions for operations and supervisory staff * Maintain knowledge of current and emerging federal, state, and local environmental regulatory requirements affecting the facility * Support, identify, and solve environmental issues through plant leadership and operations * Maintain required records for all environmental aspects Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Bachelor's degree in environmental, engineering, or related field * Environmental experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment * Experience in Title V and carbon emission management What Will Put You Ahead * Experience in EH&S compliance management * Experience in Health and Safety Management This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
