Overview We are seeking an exceptional Senior Risk Engineer - Hydraulic Structures in Louisville, KY (reporting to our Davis, CA branch) with at least 15 years of experience to serve as a nationwide Structural Engineering resource and subject matter expert. This individual will provide technical expertise and collaborate with our existing network of dam and levee engineering professionals to help grow our national Dams, Levees, and Hydraulic Structures Engineering practice and contribute to innovative and challenging projects involving heavy-civil works and hydraulic structures such as concrete dams, spillways, outlet works, conveyance systems, river navigation locks, flood walls, and powerhouses. This individual will have a thorough understanding of risk-informed decision-making frameworks that shape many of our clients' dam and levee safety programs. Provide leadership within the Geosyntec Dams and Hydraulic Structures practice to develop and implement current structural engineering best practices in risk analysis and engineering design within the firm.
