What you'll be doing...

As an Associate Director within the Total Wireless Exclusive Retail team, a part of the VCG Value Organization, you will be responsible for leading the overall HQ Direct Retail Partner Strategy. You'll provide critical support in driving sales and business growth for our Total Wireless Channel Partners while building relationships with multiple Indirect leaders and accounts and cater to their specific needs. Your team of Sr. Client Partners will be responsible for prioritizing and managing 15 accounts, multiple programs and responsibilities successfully, making sure to understand business issues and develop winning solution strategies. You will need to make critical, business impacting decisions. You'll proactively share best practices, cultivate collaboration, ensure results and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are being met in order to drive and execute results with other key responsibilities to include:

  • Lead overall strategy and execution within the Total Wireless Exclusive Retail Channel, driving sales improvement and growing Verizon share of activations (both mobility and home).

  • Improve customer experience, aligning Agent channel to Verizon Value initiatives.

  • Increase profitability for Verizon and the Agents by driving KPIs through sales execution, focus on revenue generating products and services.

  • Interact with partner senior-level management to develop sales goals and growth initiatives.

  • Coordinate internal cross-functional teams to accomplish desired business objectives.

  • Support, coordinate, and partner with field sales teams to implement national and local objectives.

  • Negotiation with partners to achieve desired strategies and tactics.

  • Contract Negotiations.

  • Device Lineup & Transitions, Inventory Forecasting and Quarterly business reviews with accounts.

  • Foster and implement programs to enhance customer experience and reduce Verizon costs.

  • Employee and Personal Development.

What we're looking for...

You are an effective and inspiring leader, able to engage and motivate a team to deliver outstanding performance. You are an expert with demonstrated abilities to create and leverage new elements of an agent program that drive meaningful performance improvements. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and you have the ability to balance competing demands and priorities. You have the business acumen and executive presence to establish credibility with leadership, and you effectively balance the needs of all involved.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demostrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience with indirect channel, channel management and/or retail channel.

  • Project Management experience.

  • Experience leading a team.

  • Willingness to travel, approximately up to 50%-100% of the time.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • An MBA, or an M.S. in related fields.

  • Two or more years of Indirect channel experience.

  • Exceptional PP/Google Slide creation for executive presentations.

  • Understanding of organizational objectives, functions, and motivations.

  • Understanding of key financial concepts relevant to Verizon business performance.

  • Demonstrate ability to work with, understand, and manage analytics data and reporting tools.

  • Project management experience.

  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • The ability to solve complex problems creatively.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.

  • 5+ years managing teams.

  • Proven management experience with the ability to lead and motivate teams.

  • Proven interpersonal, verbal and written skills to executive leadership.

  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments with strong attention to detail.

  • Strategic planning capability.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Where you'll be working
