Job Overview:

The CORC Front Desk Manager assumes responsibility for the business operations of outpatient registration for rehabilitation services at the ACC and offsite locations i.e. JCC, audiology and Speech Centers, under the supervision of the Director. He/She will perform all duties necessary to insure that the centers are functioning under the guidelines established by Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center pertaining to billing and reimbursement.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associates and or Bachelor s degree and or business experience or equivalent.
  • Must have good leadership qualities with a minimum of 5 years experience or equivalent in patient accounting, patient access background and or clinical background in rehab services. Knowledge of all insurances and their state and federal regulations.

Preferred:

  • Clinical outpatient experience (allied health profession) recommended.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervising and scheduling access associates at all of the sites, billing and denial procedures, EMR monitoring, reporting, and data collection as well as coordinating efforts with other departments as needed.
  • The Manager is expected to assist their immediate Director and Supervisors with special projects and requests; educating and communicating with appropriate staff on a regular basis.
  • The Manager will be responsible for all aspects of employee compliance, engagement and overall performance management for his/her team.
