In this role, you will learn specific application of various NDT methods in compliance with customer requirements and specifications. You will work under the supervision of certified NDT Level II, or III personnel, assisting with NDT techniques without conducting or interpreting inspections independently. The position involves working in a dynamic Tiger Team environment, with potential for frequent travel and overtime. Some analytical skills are required to thrive in this role. ESSENTIAL * The NDT Trainee will report to the Lead NDT Supervisor for their duties. If the NDT Supervisor is unavailable, another department representative will be assigned. Qualifications

WORKING CONDITIONS This position is considered PRODUCTION/OUTDOOR WORK which is characterized as follows. The shipyard/base/manufacturing work environment; the site may contain mobility barriers with uneven ground level and obstructed pathways. Climatic and environmental conditions at the job site will be indoor/outdoor climate with various temperatures and noise levels caused by tools, machinery, equipment, and etc. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
