In the role of Content Writer II, you'll be responsible for the growth of Signature Performance's business. The people you will work with are exceptional. Here is what you can look forward to, and why you'll LOVE YOUR MONDAYS. * Develop responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFI) on behalf of Signature Performance, with many of them written for a federal agency audience. * Support additional writing assignments, to include capabilities summaries, case studies, and white papers. * Maintain and organize a content library including templates, capabilities statements, company overviews, biographies, logos, past performance references and white papers. * Occasionally interview, research, gather information and collaborate with subject matter experts on the most effective way to present proposed approaches and solutions. * Acquire in-depth expertise of Signature's products and services, including new service lines. * Stay up to date in the healthcare, proposal and marketing industries by participating in educational opportunities reading industry publications; reading professional business books, and other as identified. * This role will work closely with several departments' representatives including Operations, Information Technology, HR, Compliance, Contracting, Legal and Finance. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail oriented, deadline-driven and complex environment, where multiple stakeholders influence the response. The role should maintain a positive working relationship with subordinates, peers, and leadership. * Other duties may be assigned. Position Requirements: * BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Five (5) years of experience of persuasive writing experience in the Federal Government market, particularly in healthcare or information technology. * Proficiency in Adobe PDF and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Teams and SharePoint. * Previous use of Qvidian or a similar content library management system. * Familiarity with the governmental procurement methodology. * Understanding of healthcare administration or healthcare provider operations. Expectations:
* Must possess the ability and flexibility to execute all responsibilities to meet proposal schedule demands, while managing multiple writing assignments simultaneously. * Must have an inherent attention to detail, superior organization skills and conceptual thinking skills. * Must have a demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines, under pressure, and in an entrepreneurial environment. * Must be a highly motivated individual able to grasp complex technologies, tools and concepts and learn quickly. * Must have the ability to: o clearly communicate technical verbiage in language and terms that are easy for a layperson to understand and demonstrate our value proposition and position Signature as a vendor of choice to prospective clients. o integrate Signature's win themes, key differentiators, and other industry best practices into proposals and presentation messaging. o structure, develop and write clear, compelling proposal content. o format, edit, standardize, and proofread all components of a proposal in accordance with proposal requirements while maintaining multiple document version control. o collaborate with the graphic designer to develop supporting proposal visual aids including, organization charts, process flow charts, and diagrams needed for proposals. * A willingness to travel as necessary, up to 10%. Must conduct business and personal affairs in a manner that is always a credit to the company. Must maintain a good credit rating while employed with the company. Machines and Equipment: The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copiers and fax machines. Physical Activity: * The incumbent must be able to finger, grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. This position is sedentary in nature with minimal lifting requirements. Working Conditions: The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required. * Remote Eligibility: This position is full-time remote eligible. Eligibility is determined by Management or Talent Operations.
