Main Duties & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator is responsible
for providing sales support to the Director of Distribution and the
distribution sales team. The Business Development Coordinator plays a crucial
role in supporting the sales distribution efforts and driving sales efficiency
across our organization globally. This position is responsible for assisting in
the development and maintenance of all distribution partners.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Support to the Director of Distribution and Distribution Sales Team.
- Sending out all configurator quotes for RFQs of 4 pallets or less within 24 hours.
- Push current inventory reports to distribution partners on a weekly basis to facilitate the sale of excess inventory.
- Send lead time reports and open capacity information to Distribution Partners.
Manage Configurator Quote Log.
- Help improve the win rate of configurator quotes.
- Follow up on expired quotes.
- Pinpoint distribution partners/accounts who are just price shopping.
- Identify trends and buying patterns.
Manage all small Distribution accounts with <50K Budget.
- Responsible for Annual Budget for those accounts.
- Grow small Distribution accounts YOY.
- Manage new opportunities and projects through CRM
Create and maintain strong relationships with Distribution Partners.
Help support Sales Team when they are traveling or out of office.
- Manage Sample requests
- Drawings/Spec Sheets
- Configurator Quotes
- CRM Inputting
Represent TriMas Packaging at Distributor Sales Conferences/shows.
Assist in helping to improve NPS scores amongst Distribution partners.
Act as a support person to help Sales maintain speed to market (quotes/samples/responses) and stay top of mind of distribution partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Collaborative spirit and capacity to work effectively within a fast-paced, global team environment.
Familiarity with Distribution Partnerships.
