Retail Boat Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Boat Specialist is responsible for retail pricing and maintenance of assortments of boat and ATV inventory. Communicates with retail locations regarding updates on pricing and programs. Acts as primary contact for retail locations to resolve pricing, program or stocking issues. Must have great communication skills, be analytical and be available for occasional travel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains retail price integrity is IDS system and 24 hour show rooms.

• Assists with communication of retail programs and pricing updates.

• Monitors and maintains stocking levels and assortments and communicates with stores and vendors to resolve issues

• Assists with space planning for events and major advertising efforts.

• Assists with pagination of retails tabs and other advertising.

• Assists retail location with replenishment issues, availability on product and pricing concerns.

• Assists with unit inventory set up as needed. (Back up to Inventory Clerk)

• Assists with retail customer concerns regarding availability of unit inventory.

• Communicates and monitors activities surrounding major unit inventory audits.

• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• 25%-Occasional travel for major events.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regular computer work, and sitting

• Occasional walking, standing, and lifting

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

• Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
