Job Title Market Planner Job Description Summary Job Description * Support the development and implementation of real estate strategies to achieve long-term operational and financial goals for the portfolio. * Build strong client relationships, anticipating needs and delivering a high level of service to support effective portfolio management. * Facilitate meetings and presentations with stakeholders to ensure direction, alignment, and buy-in for proposed strategies. * Develop and manage Excel-based financial models to assess portfolio data, delivering actionable insights for strategy recommendations. * Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, gathering economic, demographic, and real estate market data to inform strategic decisions. * Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline the development, approval, and implementation of real estate strategies, ensuring compliance with governance policies. * Create compelling presentations using PowerPoint to communicate strategy recommendations and analysis outcomes to senior management and clients. * Monitor and mitigate potential risks in alignment with governance policies and portfolio compliance standards. * Provide ad hoc benchmarking and insights on cost, space usage, and services to position the organization as an industry leader in innovation. * Synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights, transforming findings into meaningful recommendations for strategic and operational goals. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. * 4-7+ years of relevant experience in real estate portfolio strategy, planning, or a related field. * Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with PowerBI, Tableau, and Esri is a plus. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and deliver actionable recommendations. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to present complex data clearly to various stakeholders. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and a high sense of urgency. * Background in real estate or consulting, with a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles. * Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and internal teams. * Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
