Description: The position coordinates, oversees and engages computer science students in promoting their academic, educational, and professional development from orientation through graduation. Evaluates students' progress in their respective program, counsels and provides guidance and direction and recommendations regarding degree requirements, programs, academic and professional planning, course registration, selection and available resources and opportunities. Interprets university, campus, college, and department policies and procedures. Assists in developing and presenting academic information to prospective students and family members. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
