Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s). Under the supervision of the Business Services Officer I (Supervisor), the Property Controller II, CF is responsible for maintaining the property and land accounts and recording the location of such property. Records the receipt of new property, tags the property and delivers property to authorized units and custodians. Receives requests for recommended transfer to survey of equipment and coordinates the transaction, which may include physically moving or arranging movement of the equipment. Determines the condition and recommends the proper disposition of property requiring repair, salvage or disposal. Prepares replacement reports for equipment budget on schedule 9. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports for General Services, Regional Accounting and Incarcerated persons Services. Trains and offers assistance to staff on proper property functions and processing of forms. Works with Property Custodians to complete property inventories every three years. Maintains order and supervises the conduct of incarcerated individuals. Maintains the security of work area and work materials. Inspects premises and searches incarcerated individuals for contraband.
