About the Opportunity

HAM Team Lead:

DMI is currently seeking to hire a Hardware Asset Management Team Lead onsite in Arlington, Virginia. The HAM lead will work with the team to perform physical hardware audits, receiving and maintaining inventory storage, asset disposal, and maintain ServiceNow asset repository with accuracy.

The Hardware Asset Management Team Leader is responsible for:

    Managing the day-to-day activities of the HAM team in order to execute the hardware asset management processes.
  • Ensuring integrity of hardware asset records within ServiceNow and other Asset Management Repositories as needed.
  • Identifying requirements for HAM process improvements.
  • Perform Hardware Asset Management functions such as receiving inventory, dispose/ retire of assets and reconciliation of hardware assets.
  • Must be proficient in ServiceNow HAMPro for all aspects of hardware lifecycle management, dashboard and report creation maintenance and monitoring.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining Agile Kanban boards.
  • Perform Hardware Asset Management functions such as receiving, End of Life, End of Support an Reconciliation processes.
  • Scheduling and facilitating onsite asset disposal and shredding on a regular basis.
  • Processing asset transfers within physical and virtual stockrooms.
  • Implement ITIL asset management best practices


Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Hardware Asset Manager
  • Management of medium to large teams of asset management analysts and specialists
  • 5+ years' experience with ServiceNow Asset Management Enterprise, HAMPro experience a plus
  • Experience with network, client, infrastructure and telephony equipment
  • ITIL v4 Foundations
  • CHAMP Certification or similar ITAM certifications
