Responsibilities

    Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECO) Change Management with Product Design Engineering and updating work instructions.
  • Support product launches and adjust labor standards to changes.
  • Evaluate worker productivity and recommend improvements to increase workforce efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions.
  • Create evaluation methods to measure plant and equipment, capacity output, and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.
  • Establish accident prevention measures, and plan training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation.
  • Ensure compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines. Determine facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources, and structural design.
  • Resolve technical problems and recommends production improvement related to programming stations and automated assembly equipment.
  • Provide off-shift floor support, Lead Kaizens, and support continuous improvement projects
  • Standard working hours will be 40-45 hr/week with a daily schedule beginning at 11PM and ending at 7AM Sunday night through Friday morning.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned by management team.

The salary range for this position is $81,000-$119,900 annually (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technical Field
  • At least 2 years of experience working in an Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing environment.

OR

  • Associate Degree in Engineering or Technical Field
  • At least 5 years of experience working in an Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing environment.

OR

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • At least 7 years of experience working in an Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record to lead small project teams in continuous improvement (up to 10 people).
  • Experience in electrical systems troubleshooting and end of line testing equipment.
  • Experience with basic programming logic specifically Visual Basic, C, and/or PLC systems.
  • Experience leading people - either directly, indirectly or by way of project teams.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience (construction equipment or automotive a plus)
  • Solid understanding of Time studies, Proplanner, and/or TeamCenter Vis-Mockup
  • Lean Manufacturing/continuous improvement experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively across various groups and levels of management
