**100% Remote**

Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. This position offers flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with the requirement to travel to Colorado Springs for an in-person training session in the first week of the contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating clear, concise technical documentation for B2B audiences, specifically for internal IT and identity management teams.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2



Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive documentation, user guides, walk-throughs, and training materials for our software products.
  • Create technical reference documents aimed at internal IT professionals and technical users within the Identity Management space.
  • Work with a large body of existing documents (approximately 450 total) with an initial focus on completing and refining the remaining 400 documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, engineers) to gather technical details and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
  • Maintain consistency in style, formatting, and structure across all documents to align with company standards.



Experience Requirements:

Experience:



  • Mid-senior level technical writing experience, with a focus on B2B software documentation for internal technical audiences.


Skills:



  • Proficiency with Markdown (or other text-to-html conversion tool for web writers) for writing and converting documents to HTML.
  • Familiarity with Git version control for managing documentation revisions.
  • Strong understanding of technical writing best practices and ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content.


Work Environment:



  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Willingness to travel to Colorado Springs for training during the first week of the contract.
