The Patel/Kratzke lab at the University of Minnesota Medical School and Masonic Cancer Center is seeking to hire a Research Technician with a Life Sciences Multidiscipline Specialty designation. The lab is located in the Phillips Wangensteen Building, on the East Bank of the Minneapolis campus. This position will involve designing, executing and performing experiments and procedures in support of lab goals and grant commitments; and analyzing data related to lung cancer and mesothelioma research in animals and humans. This person will prepare samples for analysis, perform laboratory tasks, collect data, prepare documented observations and evaluate results to establish significance to this area of research. The position will predominantly involve laboratory research. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge late pre-clinical cancer research with a goal of developing candidate therapeutics for clinical translation. The candidate will work in a collaborative environment with other members of the lab and interdisciplinary collaborators. Qualifications
