Job Description and Duties

Are you a seasoned Construction professional specializing in the ability to efficiently manage projects within agreed upon parameters, plan and prioritize while focusing on details and effective time management, have top notch verbal and written communication and the ability to manage both individuals and groups? From large construction to capital improvement projects, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitiation (CDCR) has an amazing opportunity for you!

Based at our Salinas Valley State Prison (SVSP) institution with easy access from Hwy 101, a successful candidate in this position will primarily provide excellent service and oversight for this location with the possibility of regional or state wide reimbursed travel. The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process. The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user-friendly system that provides the applicant access to real-time updates throughout the hiring process.
