Salary Range

$48,146.04 - $55,748.05/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

About Us

Canvas Health's mental health and substance use disorder providers, clinicians, and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes, the community, and in our clinics. We strive for excellence in clinical care as we serve those living with mental illness, substance use disorders, crisis, unstable housing, and trauma. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Position Summary

Work within an adolescent day treatment program, planning and facilitating group skills services to clients of the program. This position works closely with the program therapist and school staff to create and maintain an environment that is sensitive to the unique mental health needs of each client assisting them in learning how to manage their mental health symptoms so they are able to function at home, in school and within the community. Additional job duties include: working collaboratively with client's family, treatment team and school, as well as develop and implement behavioral strategies to intervene and decrease disruptive behaviors.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week

Minimum Qualifications



  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related Human Services field.
  • 1-2 years' experience working with severely emotionally disturbed students in an educations or treatment center.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
