Monday - Friday

8:00am - 5:00pm

(Additional hours as needed to fulfill the needs of the department)

Function: Assumes responsibility for ensuring the effective and efficient support of the Commercial Banking process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Coordinates the workflow for Commercial Bankers by ordering and reviewing commercial loan document packages throughout the application and closing process. Maintains adequate documentation to ensure compliance of bank policy with regards to proper collection of all necessary notations, forms, agreements, and signatures of commercial loan documents.

2. Creates cover letters, communicates verbally or via email with commercial banking customers and all associated parties; including attorneys, title companies, and insurance companies involved in the loan closing process to resolve questions regarding information submitted during the application process. Communicates with the borrower and all associated parties to resolve outstanding issues regarding booked and closed loans.

3. Prepares, monitors and maintains reports used for internal and external reporting purposes.

4. Assists the Commercial Banking Officers with loan advances, disbursements, construction draws, or the requests for construction draws through the Secured Credit Department.

5. Assists the Commercial Banking Officers with the tracking and completion of commercial loan documentation and financial exceptions.

6. Processes detailed wire transfers, advances and on-line transfers.

7. Assists customers in resolving any issues with loans and deposit accounts.

8. Manages workflow of all commercial loan documents including letters of credit, documentation of processed loan files for completeness and accuracy, and issuance of advances on lines of credit for commercial loan customers on an as needed basis.

9. May assume some lending responsibilities for Senior Commercial Bankers, in their absence, including attending closings as a representative of S&T Bank.

10. Provides consistent, superior quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds S&T Bank's standards.

11. Performs other responsibilities related to the commercial banking process as required.

12. Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees in other departments. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.

Physical Demands
Operates a keypad device 90% of the day. Operates electronic equipment 90% of the day. Travels occaisionally as required. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands and wrists and elbows. Standing is required one hour a day in a straight position. Sitting is required 6.5 hour per day in a straight position. Walking is required 30 minutes per day. Must be able to use fingers and manual dexterity skills for typing, data entry, and filing on a frequent basis of 40% of the business day. Must be able to focus visually at a close distance of 18"-20" for a period of up to 40% of the business day. Education

Requires a high school diploma, plus specialized training or a two year degree in related business field.

Experience

Five to ten years general experience with two to five years of specialized banking experience.
