What You'll do:

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to support the development of web-based applications.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of direct project experience performance testing an Appian implementation.

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical consulting position.

  • Experience in designing, developing and executing performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios, to include running results analysis on test results

  • Proficiency with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Groovy).

  • Ability to define and discuss software performance metrics, such as: response time, throughput, etc. while assigned to a project or interfacing with customers

  • Experience analyzing performance data and providing actionable insights.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of data objects and data architecture during data design discussions with the project team and/or client

  • Ability to write performance test scripts for advanced use cases built in Appian with minimal input from Seniors

  • Experience coaching and advising Associate Performance Test Engineers in resolving issues with scripts and tests

  • Demonstrated experience gathering targeted throughput information from the business

  • Proficient in identifying root causes using Appian logs and system information

  • Ability to create data staging processes, scripts, etc. with minimal input from more senior members of the team

  • Proficient in writing queries and stored procedures in SQL

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain some level of government clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Appian Analyst or Associate Developer Certification

  • Advanced knowledge of Appian Design principles

  • Ability to identify Appian logs needed for beyond standard system resource utilization analysis

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$73,337.00 - $151,628.00
