The Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh seeks candidates to fill a position as a Visiting Professor specializing in History and/or Philosophy of Cognitive Science and/or Neuroscience.
Required Qualifications: (1) A PhD in History and Philosophy of Science, Philosophy, or a closely related field expected by the proposed start date; (2) a promising research agenda in History and/or Philosophy of Cognitive Science and/or Neuroscience, and (3) exhibit interest in integrating history and philosophy of science as well as in-depth knowledge of the science or sciences relevant to their research.
Responsibilities: One undergraduate course and one graduate course
