Laboratory Research Technician II

Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.

• Mouse husbandry and genotyping
• Immunostaining
• Plasmid DNA preparation
• Basic lab bench work including solution and reagent preparation
• Sterilization of equipment
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering

This position is basically sedentary. However, there will be some lifting of boxes and walking between collaborating labs
