Pediatric Cardiology EP APN Pediatric Cardiology EP APN Hiring Department: UICOMP-Pediatrics Location: Peoria, IL USA Requisition ID: 1028182 Posting Close Date: 2/10/2025 The Division of Pediatric Cardiology is a growing and busy division that has 11 cardiologists and 3 APRNs. The EP volume and complexity has grown over time and the Division is looking to that add an APRN to focus on the care of pediatric and adult congenital electrophysiology patients. The successful candidate will collaborate with the pediatric and congenital EP cardiologist to provide high quality, specialty care. Some of the duties will include pre-procedure evaluations, arrhythmia management, follow up clinic appointments, and EP device evaluations. There will be a mix of ambulatory and inpatient work. Position Summary The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides comprehensive health care for assigned patients/community as determined by scope of practice guidelines and specialty. This includes completion of a health assessment, determining diagnosis, planning and prescribing treatment within the parameters of medical staff privileges at UICOMP and area of expertise. The APRN participates in the educational experiences of nursing students, medical students, residents and other health care disciplines. Duties & Responsibilities
