The Transformation Management Lead provides support to all lines of business to improve policy and processes. Assess impacts to Valley's organization and processes and facilitate the implementation of transformational changes while mitigating the risk of same. The Transformation Management Lead will also assist in monitoring process improvements identified by the lines of business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Provide thought leadership on business process excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Document existing processes and workflows while considering interdependencies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures and process maps.
  • Assemble reports to document process status and changes, measuring efficiency gains.
  • Design metrics to measure productivity and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate findings and proposals to key stakeholders.
  • Provide thorough instructions for successful implementation of process changes.
  • Work with partners to evaluate compliance and risk assessments.
  • Assist in creating a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Create, edit, and update communications materials including but not limitLed to communication plans, corporate messages, and presentations.
  • Partner with the Automation Solutions team in creating or maintaining RPA automations for stakeholders as required.

  • Proficiency in drafting and authoring formal policy and procedure documents.
  • Proficiency in documenting process workflows in MS Visio or other workflow documentation tools.
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement methodology to review and revise existing policy and procedures.


Required Experience:


  • 3 years of experience with process improvement metholodogies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean or other).
  • 3 years process analysis, engineering, automation, or related experience.
  • HS Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.


Preferred Experience:


  • 4 Year College Degree.
  • 3 years of experience in a banking environment.
  • 5-7 years' experience in Change Management and/or Process Improvement.


Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
