This opportunity is in the Legal Department.

Working actively with executive and senior leadership teams, our Legal department assists in achieving the company's goals by not only partnering with the business, but also managing corporate liability and compliance. Role Description:

In this Business Operations Analyst role (known internally as "Legal Operations Analyst II"), you'll be at the heart of our Legal Department's technical and operational efficiency. From implementing cutting-edge legal technology solutions to ensuring accurate, data-driven insights for key decision-making, you'll be a vital link in our mission to maintain top-tier legal operations. Your work will directly support our core values of Relationships, Integrity, Teamwork, Balance, and Stability, driving the success of both the department and the organization as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Process Improvement: Work with the Legal Operations Manager to develop and enhance procedures and workflows for efficiency and scalability.
  • Technology Implementation: Assist in selecting, implementing, and managing legal technology tools (e.g., contract lifecycle management, matter management, and billing systems).
  • Project Management: Support project planning, documentation, and reporting for various departmental systems and initiatives. Lead assigned projects and initiatives to completion.
  • Data Management: Oversee system data and dashboards, ensuring accuracy in departmental reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with Legal, IT, and other departments to assess and enhance system needs and performance, leveraging continuous improvement methodologies.


Qualifications:

Education:



  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree required


Required Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5+ years' experience. Experience may include areas such as legal, operations, insurance, process improvement, system management, etc.
  • Strong business and technical skills, especially with system requirements, process flows, and project management methodologies like Agile.
  • Someone who can build strong relationships across departments, think critically, and solve problems creatively.
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to Legal Department data and functions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to analyze and problem solve while working closely with others to coordinate and complete projects.
  • Exceptional proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Windows applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams, along with user interface, database structure and business intelligence.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Law firm or corporate legal department experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience with implementation of matter management, legal billing, contract lifecycle management and other systems supporting Legal Department functions preferred.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
